For those interested in learning about pruning olive trees, Audrey and Cain are offering 2-hour workshops, one in English and one in Spanish, at the farm.
English workshop: April 5, 10am to noon
Spanish workshop: April 5, 1pm to 3pm
This workshop will focus on pruning for productivity on orchards that are planted in a medium density system and hand harvested - this is also applicable to pruning landscape olives. We will not cover pruning techniques for super high-density, machine harvest systems.
We are limiting each workshop to 30 participants, and will close registration once the workshops are full.
